Ray Hennessy

Since 2007, Ray’s fascination with wildlife photography has grown into a full-time career. What began as a passionate hobby focused on birds has evolved into a professional journey. Since 2020, Ray has lived in a van, traveling throughout the United States and Canada to explore and photograph remarkable natural areas and wildlife. His work emphasizes creative lighting and compelling compositions to capture unique images of the wildlife he encounters.

Ray has been fortunate to visit countless incredible locations, bringing his signature wildlife photography style to each one, combining scenic imagery with a focus on the habitats where wildlife thrives. Beyond his photography, he enjoys sharing his extensive knowledge and experience with aspiring photographers. Over the years, he has mentored students in person and remotely, guiding individuals worldwide to refine their wildlife photography techniques and skills.

In every workshop he leads, he aims to inspire and equip participants with the tools to grow their wildlife photography skills, ensuring each photographer leaves with new insights and confidence in their craft.
