Find Your Next Photography Trip

It was an amazing trip- came home with so many great memories and photos! Highly recommend it! I had wanted for a long time to photograph the Mongolian Eagle Hunters. It exceeded my expectations! Zayaa, our logistics person, was outstanding. She has great knowledge to share and was very motherly in making sure everybody was taken care of. She even loaned me a jacket and scarf because she was concerned that I was not warm enough. Smaller groups mean more personal contact with the guides and fewer people trying to get a shot.

I get more individual attention from Akari than any other photo tour company I've been with.

This was my first tour, but certainly not my last, with Akari Photo Tours, which I booked last minute (8 days prior). They were extremely responsive and professional in getting me registered and booked in hotels within hours of my inquiry. The tour was well planned out, the advance communications were exceptional and the guides they use were phenomenal. All week they were putting our group in locations to maximize our photo opportunities. Also, Kevin did a nice job in balancing the mix of wildlife and landscape opportunities.

The Eagles tour up to BC Canada was one of the best Photo tours I’ve ever been on photography was great. The lodge was great. The food was out of sight. Excellent all the way around Kevin Lisota was was incredibly good and helpful.

Kevin was a wonderful pro. We all loved working with him. The trip was non-stop adventure and excitement and exceeded my expectations.

I would have to say that this Snowy Owl trek was the most outstanding Snowy Owl trek I have experienced! We were so lucky to have private access to off road fields, to pre-scouted Owls, and the best part, a cooperative Snowy Owl which was active in hunting and flights for me to photograph over several days. Kevin, Jeff, and Len (the local guide and Owl Whisperer) were great in guiding us to flight image opportunities. I tip my hat to Akari for this photography trek. I will certainly be looking to return and am recommending Akari and this trek to my friends far and wide.
