Find Your Next Photography Trip

Great experience with Kevin Pepper and the rest of Akari staff. Great communication before and during workshop. Kevin is obviously a very experienced photographer and guide. Highly recommend. I’m booking 4 more trips with them shortly.

I have traveled with both Kevin Pepper and Kevin Lisota and they are both a joy to travel with. They are very knowledgeable and are genuinely interested in providing the appropriate photographic advice to make sure that you capture quality images. They are also both a lot of fun to travel with and I would say they go above and beyond to make sure their photo tours are a great experience for the participants. I would not hesitate to recommend either of them. I have already recommended Akari Photo Tours to other people, whether they are photography enthusiasts or people who simply want to capture memories on their iPhones. The tricky part, at least for me, is choosing which Akari tour I want to do next.

Kevin Lisota is an expert’s expert- from camera knowledge, processing, critiques, photo-ops, patience. He has it all!

Lavender, Camargue horses, and so much more! I realize you can’t predict the exact timing of the lavender bloom, but we caught it at the peak of the season! I’ve waited several years to see Camargue horses, and they were incredible. We had wonderful opportunities to photograph the horses and guardians on the move over land and water. It was a fantastic experience! What I didn’t expect was the chance to wander through the old cities of Province, enjoy incredible local meals, history and shopping! It was so much more than I’d hoped to see. I saw areas of France (with a local French speaking guide) I would not have ever seen had I not decided to take the tour. Overall it’s wonderful adventure and I highly recommend this tour!

Akari Photo Tour was a great combination of getting to amazing photo locations , plenty of time and opportunities to get the photos, and learning.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Seabirds of Newfoundland Photo Workshop. The trip was very enjoyable, and I captured many wildlife photos that I will be able to use in my wildlife photography hobby/business. The tour exceeded my expectations for obtaining many quality photos of Puffins, and my photos of other seabirds and Humpback Whales are a great bonus!
