Testimonials
Kevin’s guidance completely changed how I photograph action, thanks to his coaching in the field, I came home with my best-ever images of the Camargue horses and a whole new level of confidence behind the camera.
I have been on well over 30 workshops in 25 years. It is so refreshing to see that Kevin and Kevin frequently don't carry a camera and really are intent on helping us get our best shots.
Lavender, Camargue horses, and so much more! I realize you can’t predict the exact timing of the lavender bloom, but we caught it at the peak of the season! I’ve waited several years to see Camargue horses, and they were incredible. We had wonderful opportunities to photograph the horses and guardians on the move over land and water. It was a fantastic experience! What I didn’t expect was the chance to wander through the old cities of Province, enjoy incredible local meals, history and shopping! It was so much more than I’d hoped to see. I saw areas of France (with a local French speaking guide) I would not have ever seen had I not decided to take the tour. Overall it’s wonderful adventure and I highly recommend this tour!
I had no idea walking safaris were even possible in Namibia, and getting to do two of them was easily one of the most exciting, heart-pounding highlights of the trip—I’m so grateful I got to experience it.
As someone who has used many companies for photo workshops around the world, I particularly appreciate Akari's all-inclusive and personalized approach, which allows me to improve my photography while also getting lots of great images.
Iceberg Alley was pure magic—watching towering icebergs drift by while we photographed in that crisp Newfoundland light was one of the most unforgettable experiences of the entire trip.
