The amazing Kevin P, who never sleeps. Our fearless tour leader herding and organizing us cats, added incredible value in finding just the right spot at just the right time for dynamic photos including recommending camera settings for the best shot. Also wandering ahead to find new and interesting things to photograph. Encouraging and helping us to improve our photo skills. Kevin P has been to Namibia so many time he knows all the good spots and what to do.

Akari Photo Tour was a great combination of getting to amazing photo locations , plenty of time and opportunities to get the photos, and learning.

Snowy owls have been among the top 5 on my bucket list for many years. I am delighted that I elected to join Akari for this adventure. In addition to having access to private property, our guide Len provided expert knowledge about the owls habitat, flight patterns and what to expect. The photo opportunities and results exceeded my expectations. In addition, Jeff was very helpful with ranged to every aspect of photography from camera setting to editing techniques. I highly recommend this Akari tour.

Kevin was a wonderful pro. We all loved working with him. The trip was non-stop adventure and excitement and exceeded my expectations.

Experiencing Mongolia with Kevin was wonderful! He was able to get us access to people and places very few people could. Kevin made sure we all got amazing photos.

Lavender, Camargue horses, and so much more! I realize you can’t predict the exact timing of the lavender bloom, but we caught it at the peak of the season! I’ve waited several years to see Camargue horses, and they were incredible. We had wonderful opportunities to photograph the horses and guardians on the move over land and water. It was a fantastic experience! What I didn’t expect was the chance to wander through the old cities of Province, enjoy incredible local meals, history and shopping! It was so much more than I’d hoped to see. I saw areas of France (with a local French speaking guide) I would not have ever seen had I not decided to take the tour. Overall it’s wonderful adventure and I highly recommend this tour!
