As a professional photographer, drone pilot, boat captain, and SCUBA instructor, James has lived and worked in some of the world’s most stunning places, including Alaska, Hawaii, Fiji, Indonesia, the Solomon Islands, Niue, and Timor Leste. That range of experience gives guests confidence in the field, especially in dynamic outdoor environments where a steady guide makes all the difference.

James loves photographing whales, wildlife, and landscapes, and if the aurora or bioluminescence appears, he is more than happy to stay up late for the right moment. His drone work has even been featured in BBC productions, including one narrated by David Attenborough.
