Sigurður Stefnisson (Siggi)

Siggi is a native Icelander with a lifetime of experience exploring the raw beauty of his homeland. A full-time tour guide since 2007, he specializes in photography, drone, and 4×4 adventures — blending technical expertise with a deep-rooted passion for Iceland’s wild landscapes.

Before stepping into guiding, Siggi spent two decades running his own photo developing center and wholesale company, giving him a strong foundation in both the creative and business sides of photography.

His love affair with Icelandic nature began early — he got his first 4×4 in 1984 and has been hiking, driving, and discovering hidden gems across the country ever since. A true aficionado of Iceland’s remote Highlands, Siggi knows the region like the back of his hand. He’s dedicated to helping others capture Iceland’s untamed beauty from every angle.
