Newfoundland Photography Tours
Canada’s easternmost province, Newfoundland, is known for rugged seascapes dotted with lighthouses, quaint fishing villages, icebergs, abundant bird and sea life, and Gros Morne National Park. Both landscape and wildlife photographers will find compelling subjects in Newfoundland.
For wildlife photographers, Newfoundland offers some of the best sea bird photography in the world, including large colonies of Atlantic Puffins and Northern Gannets. Summers also mean that the waters surrounding the island teem with humpback, sperm, minke, and pilot whales, along with numerous other marine mammals.
For landscape photographers, the lighthouses and rocky coastlines, along with picturesque fishing villages, make ideal compositions. Summer in Newfoundland also means frequent visits from icebergs drifting south from Greenland.
We’ve been leading photography workshops in Newfoundland for over a decade. Our guides will get you to the right place at the right time for memorable images. They’ll guide you on camera settings, suggest compositions, and help you post-process your images.
