For more than a decade, we have been leading photographers through Paris on a photo workshop built from experience, relationships, and a deep understanding of how this city photographs best. We do not just visit Paris. We know how to work it, from quiet side streets at first light to grand boulevards, elegant interiors, and evening scenes when the city feels at its most cinematic.
This workshop blends iconic locations with private access, guided portrait sessions, and small-group instruction that helps photographers grow with confidence. Every day is carefully designed to help you create images that feel intentional, expressive, and unmistakably Paris, while giving you the comfort of knowing you are exploring the city with leaders who have been doing this here for years.

What You'll Learn
- Learn How Light Affects a Scene – We will teach you how to use light from golden morning light through blue hour and into the night in an urban setting on our Paris photo workshop.
- Compose Better Street Photography Photos – How to build stronger street compositions using gesture, architecture, and timing. You will also learn how to simplify busy city scenes and create images that feel more intentional and story-driven
- Learn How to Work With Models Under Professional Guidance – We will help you direct and photograph professional models and ballet dancers with more confidence
- Learn Post-Processing Techniques – We will teach you editing skills that will help create better Parisian images. Skills that will stay with you long after this workshop.
Activity Level
Expect some long walks on cobblestone streets, time on your feet throughout the day, and stairs in certain buildings. Paris is best experienced on foot, and much of the workshop is built around moving through the city with purpose and flexibility.
For most photographers with a reasonable level of mobility, this trip is very manageable and well worth the miles.

My first photography workshop was with Kevin Pepper in 2014; Nova Scotia. I knew I made a good decision when he rescued a very expensive lens that I let roll out of my camera bag into a puddle of water at Peggy’s Cove. Kevin’s patience, a great sense of humour and excellent technical and composition tips made for me, an inexperienced landscape photographer at the time, a memorable workshop. Since then, it’s been workshops in Newfoundland, the Yukon twice, Mongolia, Namibia and Paris; all with Kevin. His knowledge of these and other locations and with his local contacts, means a key understanding of the best locations and also the ability to make quick changes due to weather or other conditions. Logistics with regard to accommodation and meals have never disappointed; even a last-minute birthday cake when it came up it was a client’s birthday on a particular day, demonstrates his level of care.
This was my first trip with Kevin. I have attended other workshops before, but experienced only teaching in the classroom and during critiques, then only toss out tips in the field. With students having various degrees of knowledge, instructors seem to settle somewhere in the middle for instruction. This wasn't the case with Kevin. He met people where they were at in their own photography skills. He was polite, tactful and very perceptive about coaching us where we needed help.
I thoroughly enjoyed this Paris workshop. I got to see so many different parts of Paris at the best times to see them. And our pro Kevin Pepper was very helpful & knowledgeable. He would show me different perspectives and how to get the best picture.
This was an amazing trip from the well located hotel to the photo ops. Kevin knew the city well and his knowledge of photography ensured everyone got great images. He was patient knowledgeable and provided us with a flexible schedule where we were able to cover the best that Paris has to offer.
