Kevin Lisota
Kevin Lisota is a professional photographer, videographer, and web developer based in Seattle and a co-founder of Akari Photo Tours. After a successful technology career at Microsoft, he shifted into photojournalism, capturing the pulse of the Seattle tech scene and photographing high‑profile leaders, major sporting events, and even rocket launches.
But Kevin’s true passion lies outdoors. A dedicated nature and wildlife photographer, he spends countless hours exploring the mountains and national parks of the Pacific Northwest or staying out under the stars to capture the night sky. His camera is more than a tool—it’s a passport to extraordinary experiences.
Today, Kevin channels that passion into leading immersive photography workshops around the world. He believes the real magic happens when photographers push beyond their comfort zones, witness rare wildlife moments, and experience cultures and landscapes that reshape their creative vision. Guiding others to those breakthroughs is what keeps him traveling.
Kevin shoots Nikon for stills, Sony for video, and uses DJI drones and GoPro cameras to bring unique perspectives to life. Whether documenting fast‑moving news or helping photographers elevate their craft in remote destinations, Kevin brings technical mastery, creative curiosity, and a deep love of adventure to every project.
